Oof! So, there was a really awesome Rocky Mountain Oils promotion that was all about cleaning with essential oils, that I meant to share with you last week. I forgot.

I’ve been running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off lately and just totally and completely forgot to write the danged post! It was on my mind, then it left. Our oldest daughter is graduating from highschool this year and I’ve been busy getting things lined up for her prom, graduation and graduation party. We’re all vaccinated (the 16 and up ones anyway) so we decided to have a small graduation party with a handful of her closes senior friends and family that we see all the time anyway. I’ll be cleaning the house before and after with my favorite disinfecting essential oils. I always make my own foaming hand soap using a citrus blend I love but I plan on trying a different recipe that I also have for you too! (photo below)
So, since I forgot to share the promo I, at least, wanted to still share the 2 awesome cleaning with essential oils recipes I have!
Deodorizing Spray
- 5 Drops Cinnamon essential oil
- 4 Drops Tea Tree essential oil
- 5 Drops Purify essential oil blend (Rocky Mountain Oils blend)
- 3 Drops Clove essential oil
- 3/4 Cups Distilled Water
- 2 TBSP Vodka or Rubbing Alcohol
Mix all in a spray bottle, shake and spritz your room to deodorize and re-freshen.
Spicy Citrus Hand Soap
- 6 Drops Bergamot essential oil
- 8 Drops Blood Orange essential oil
- 4 Drops Ginger Root essential oil
- 1/2 Cup Castile Soap
- 1 TBSP Jojoba oil
- 1/2 Cup Distilled Water
Combine all ingredients in a glass soap dispenser. Mix thoroughly and enjoy!
I can’t wait to try these to essential oil cleaning recipes! I bet they smell amazing!
