Safety

When it comes to student safety, there should be no compromise. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their life, but students are a particularly at risk group due to being so young, and due to being impressionable. We’re not saying that to be mean, those are just the facts and that’s why we’ve written this article.

Down below, we’re going to be talking about how we can make students as safe as possible during their years in college, and beyond. So, that’s what we’re going to be looking at today – read on to find out more.

Don’t Buy Anything Sketchy From Anyone

The first thing that we’re going to do is suggest that you never buy anything from anyone sketchy. One thing that you absolutely do not want is to not be getting the product that you think you’re getting, or get something else with it.

It’s important that you stick to reputable retailers for all of your needs, including going to vape shops if you insist on vaping, rather than getting them from your mate Jared behind the science building. You never know what is going into anything not being sold by a reputable retailer, and while it might be more expensive, it’s worth it for your safety.

Always Have Your Location On

Another thing that you should do is always have your location on for someone. This could be a family member, a friend, but someone should be able to check where you are at any given time. We do understand that it feels like someone is stalking you, or an invasion of privacy, but this is not the case at all. It’s just about ensuring that someone knows where you are if something goes wrong, or that you’re easily locatable if you need help.

This is the same whether you are just at college, or whether you’ve gone traveling for a week. You need to be safe, you need to be traceable.

Don’t Borrow Someone Else’s ID/Use Fake ID

The final thing that we’re going to be looking at is not using someone else’s ID or fake ID’s. We know that it can be tempting to do this so that you feel like you can enjoy life to the fullest, but all that is still going to be there when you turn the right age. There are plenty of things that you can do before you turn 21 that are fun and enjoyable, you don’t need to be trying to sneak into places that you shouldn’t be in, or do things you shouldn’t be doing.

We hope that you have found this article helpful, and now see some of the things that we recommend in order to keep yourself safe as a student. You might not want to follow this advice, you might think that we’re being really boring, but we promise it’s not about that. It’s about safety, and safety always needs to come first above pretty much anything else.
