Easily Create Graphics, Posters, Social Media And More With DesignCap

Being a blogger, I need to be able to create graphics for social media and blog posts as easily as possible. I also need to be able to do this in my every day, mom life. I love to create posters and print outs to decorate my home, birthday cards, invitations, party banners and posters, etc.

DesignCap is similar in design to Canva. There are some differences in that DesignCap is a tad more basic. It does have some limits that other platforms may offer, BUT it offers all the features I need, to get my projects completed. It is very simple to use and it is growing in what it does offer.

I received a year premium account as a thank you for sharing an unbiased review of DesignCap. All opinions are my own. Your results may vary from mine.

If, like me, you’re NOT a graphic designer, graphic design tools like DesignCap can make it very easy to create great designs. It has tons of tools and templates to make creating as easy as possible.

You start by choosing what you’re going to be making (your category), ie: flyer.

Choosing Your Category DeisgnCap

Once you have your category chosen, you can choose a template. You can edit these templates with your own text, graphics, colors, etc. They serve as a design guideline if you don’t have a full design in mind.

Customize Flyer Templates Online DesignCap

You can upload your own photos, choose different fonts, add pie charts, elements like boxes, shapes, borders, etc. You can even choose different modules to add like social media icons, timelines, diagrams, statistics and more.

If you’re a blogger and need to make a media kit, the modules section will really come in handy!

I took the Easter flyer, shown above, and made a few simple edits to show you how easy it is to change things up and make them your own. I changed the background and font, added some shadowed boxes and removed some of the text. Then I re-positioned a couple things and had an entirely new flyer. Easy as can be!

When you’re finished you can download your design, print it or save it in your account for later editing. Once you download it,you’re also given the option to share it to social media.

Some of its key features:
  • Countless templates for posters, social media, infographics, etc.
  • A large library of stock photos, charts, elements, preset text styles, modules & backgrounds.
  • Fully customizable features.
  • Save it to desktop and cloud or share to social media.
  • Localized into 7 languages: English, German, Spanish, Japanese, Portuguese, French, Chinese.

There are 3 plans to choose from and the pricing is extremely affordable. There is a free plan, basic and plus.

The free plan is limited to the following:

  •  Limited templates
  •  Limited stock media choices
  •  5 image uploads
  •  Save up to 5 designs
  •  JPG exports

The $4.99 basic and $5.99 plus plans offer more image uploads, more saved designs and more features in the templates areas.

Overall, I’d say DesignCap is a pretty good resource for designing the graphics you need. As I mentioned, above, it is slightly limited in it’s designs but has the functionality to create pretty much any graphic you may need.
