DreamTone by Lancome. #DreamTone @LancomeUSA #bareselfie @SheSpeaksUp

Disclosure: I received complimentary product from SheSpeaks/Lancôme so I could try it for myself and see my own results. All opinions are strictly my own.

I’ve been using DreamTone by Lancome. And here’s why. I have red, blotchy skin and tiny red veins on my cheeks. I developed it during pregnancy and it won’t go away. It almost looks like fine acne scars except that I never had acne there. I have an uneven skin tone and even a couple dark spots. It drives me crazy. I tried a few products in the past that seem to have lightened it some, but not completely. They mainly just cover it until I wash my face at night.

Lancome DreamTone

I recently tried DreamTone by Lancome twice a day for 4 weeks. I use it in the morning and again in the evening under my regular moisturizer and morning make-up. After using it for 4 weeks, I then created my #DreamTone @LancomeUSA #bareselfie for @SheSpeaksUp. I don’t like putting my face out there sans-makeup. But I did it, with the exception of mascara because I ALWAYS wear mascara. My eyelashes are fairly light colored and after I miscarried a couple years ago, they fell out along with my hair. (happend every time) They are just now starting to get thicker but I still wear the mascara because you just can’t really see them otherwise. So I DO have mascara on in my #bareselfie but NO makeup on my face.

While I didn’t notice results immediately, I did notice results. I saw them in my post-use #bareselfie photo. My skin is smoother and less blotchy looking. Most of the redness is gone and it doesn’t take nearly as much foundation as it once did, to even out my skin tone.

I’m not a fan of floral scents, as they trigger my migraines. However, this light scent didn’t bother me. It was actually quite pleasant.

The price is WAY out of my price range for a product I’d be able to purchase for myself but if you have serious skin tone issues on your face, it may be worth the cost to you if you can afford it. I would definitely recommend trying to find a sample and trying it out.

#DreamTone #BareSelfie

I hadn’t really noticed any difference until I saw this photo. But the redness has evened out a LOT more. I still have the tiny red veins and always will but the splotchy spots are so much better. It takes almost no foundation or concealer at all to even my face out now. Just a dab on one or two spots and then blend it in and I’m done. My make-up routine is so much quicker. And I even go without make-up some now. Only the little bit of mascara! My face can breathe again!
