I have always been a huge fan of using facial masks. Mud masks, peel off masks, etc. I adore them and use one at least once per week. My daughters love using them too so we like to have a “spa day” at home!
My daughters and I start our spa day at home by having a Trim Healthy Mama Boost Juice which is a version of a sugar free lemonade with Baobab Boost Powder. So good! Then we put on our facial masks, do each others nails and just relax and enjoy each other’s company. It is such a fun way to bond with my girls!
I recently received 2 complimentary masks from Masked Beauty along with a silicone brush to apply them with. The masks I received are the Purifying Charcoal & Diamond Mask and Exfoliating Coffee & Chocolate Mask.
I’ve never used the Masked Beauty brand before now but I have been very impressed! The Exfoliating Coffee & Chocolate Mask smells like a mocha and actually made me crave one! The smells was so good.I left it on about 15 minutes and then rinsed with warm water. My skin felt amazing! It was so soft and silky.
Using the Silicone Facial Mask brush made it super easy to apply. The brush is actually more of a spatula. It has a curved end which makes it perfect for applying near the eye area. This helps you to avoid the eyes much easier. You just scoop come up with the Silicone Facial Mask brush and apply it where needed. So easy!
Later in the week I tried the Purifying Charcoal & Diamond Mask. I used the Exfoliating Coffee & Chocolate Mask first to slough off any dead or dry skin. Then I used the Purifying Charcoal & Diamond Mask to purify. I felt like exfoliating first really let the goodness from the other penetrate my skin better.
I can’t say that I’d ever used diamond powder on my skin before. It was kind of exciting! This mask has a super clean, fresh scent. It is slightly floral-y but it didn’t trigger my migraines like floral products do. I really like the smell. Like the other, this facial mask left my skin feeling incredible. It was silky, smooth and I felt like it was glowing.
I didn’t not experience any breakouts like I do with some clay masks. My pores looked visibly reduced immediately after using and the dryness was noticeably better.
I love that there was no mixing with these. The plastic containers are perfect and all you have to do is flip the lid open and apply. The silicone brush rinses clean with soapy water and dries with a paper towel. It is super handy to us!
My girls and I had so much fun doing our spa day and plan to use the Masked Beauty facial masks again and again!
