Gift Idea: Olde Westport Spices

I have a few people on our Holiday list that I never really know what to buy as far as Holiday gifts go. I’ve spent this entire year making lists of gift ideas and one thing that I kept coming back to were gift baskets. One particular family on our list loves homemade chili so I thought that making a gift basket featuring some Olde Westport spices would be just the thing!

I received some complimentary Olde Westport spices as a US Family Guide blogger and we tried out the Olde Wesport Champion Chili Mix to see how it was. It was delicious! The chili was spicy, but not overly spicy hot. There was tons of flavor and it is super easy to use. It smells incredible too!

And, it’s gluten free so all of our family members can enjoy it.

Olde Westport Champion Chili Mix

Since our turned out so well, I decided that I am going to make a “Chili Fixin’s” gift basket. This particular family really loves white chicken chili so I’ll include a packet of the Chili Verde mix (they can use chicken and white beans in it, 2 large bowls, 2 spoons, crackers, a bottle of hot sauce and a jar of jalapeno peppers. Not everyone loves peppers in their chili but I figured if they were serving others, they’d be a great addition to the basket.  I’ll think of a couple more things to include, maybe some cloth napkins, and get it put together.

You could also purchase several different mixes and make up a stocking filled with the different varieties and spices. This would make a great gift for someone who loves to cook but may be hard to buy for.

This championship spice has helped chili creators win 12 state and national championships throughout the years and all over the US! But what is most important to us about our Olde Westport Chili Spice Blend is that our customers love to use it in their chili whether it’s for a national championship cook-off challenge or simply for their own family in their cozy kitchen on a cold winter’s night. We’ve heard from countless customers that our attention to detail and quality is what makes this chili spice blend stand out above the competitors. We know you might put beans in your chili or maybe you add apples and sausage or perhaps you have a special recipe that is top secret but starts with thick-cut bacon… however you concoct your chili we hope you’ll try our chili spice blend.

The chili we made tasted so good, I think I’ll go have another bowl!
