I, honestly, can’t decide which DIY makeup recipe I’m most excited to make! They all sound amazing and, since I wear makeup daily, I’m looking forward to making my own!
Here are the oils included in the December recipe box:
Cedarwood is not one of my favorite oils, when smelling it directly from the bottle. It tends to have a cat urine after-smell, to me. BUT, when blended with other oils, it offers an amazing scent. Plus, it has wonderful health benefits, so I do encourage you to give it a try!
You may find it smells amazing and is one of your most favorite oils. Everyone is different so you just never know.
The DIY Makeup extras included in the December Simply Earth Recipe Box include:

- Fuchsia Mica Powder
- Red Iron Oxide
- 2 Cosmetic Tins
The lip crayon recipe looks like it is in a lip balm tube, so, you’ll want to order one of those or clean and sanitize an old lip balm tube you have at home. You’ll also need something to put your serum in like a serum bottle with a dropper (also available at Simply Earth). Micas are so fun to use. They can be a bit messy to work with but the end results are worth it. I love using mica powder in lip balm recipes for a hint of color. Tinted lip balms are one of my favorite products to make and to wear!
