Christmas day has come and gone. Did you receive everything on your wish list? I got some really nice Christmas gifts this year. Clay bought me a jacket I’d been eyeing and some plugins for the blog, apps for my phone and the cutest outdoor, winter chimineas!

Another gift I got, that is absolutely wonderful, didn’t come from family or friends but was actually something I received as a complimentary review item: Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Chocolates. I’ve mentioned them here on the blog once before. These are more of a gift to myself and I am SO glad to have received them! I received a 1 pound box of assorted chocolates.

One of my favorite pieces is the White Trinidad. I’m not a huge fan of white chocolate but this is the yummiest piece of candy I’ve ever eaten! It is super rich and I was only able to eat half at a time. It’s basically a nut cluster dipped in white chocolate and it is smooth and creamy and so good.

There is a lot of candy on a 1 lb. box. You can see in the photo below that there is the White Trinidad (it’s really big), caramels, Haystack, mint, cherry cordial and other assorted creme’s and nut clusters. I shared with the kids and we all enjoyed each piece we tried.

Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Chocolates also offers a variety of candy bars. We received the variety 4 pack which is $5.99. Each of the candy bars were really good. My favorite was the Mindy Mint. The mint and chocolate flavors were incredible together! The candy bars are the perfect size too. They are also rich in flavor so one at a time is more than enough. Like the White Trinidad, I ate half and then saved the rest for later.

Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Chocolates use quality chocolate and you can tell. The chocolate is smooth and creamy. The creme’s are flavorful and the coconut and nuts all taste fresh and good. My box arrived quickly and was very well packaged. There was no shifting, melting or smashed pieces. Everything was perfect and I’ll definitely be purchasing from Mrs. Cavanaugh’s in the future. Their chocolates were much better than anything I’ve ever received from in-store.
