Make Your Summer Cookouts Spectacular With Laser Lights

Back at Christmas time we used laser lights for our outdoor decorations. It was so easy to just set the light, point it onto the house and be done with it. No climbing ladders. No messing with tangled strands of light strings. Just set it and forget it and have gorgeous lights all over the front of the house. I came to realize that those laser lights aren’t just for Christmas and winter decorating. They are great for summer parties too!

With the 4th of July coming up I wanted something that I could use to really make our house stand out during our cookout. I have red, white and blue glow sticks and a couple strings of cute party lights but I wanted something that would be almost like fireworks.

The laser lights we had can cast the red lights on the house and they could flash on and off but it was just the plain, red blinking lights. The StarNight Laser Dancing Lights offer a little more pizzazz to the lights and I can set them to red and green, red only on static or dancing or green only in static or dancing or a combination that rotates all the settings. For the 4th of July, the red dancing lights are going to be fantastic!

They are almost like little bursts of light that resemble fireworks. Displayed on the house during the party is really going to set the mood for the night.

Even though they are only red and green, you can use these laser lights for any season and any Holiday. Green or red individually will go with just about anything. It would be super awesome if they also had white and blue lights along with the red and green, though. I could see using the red, white and blue for the 4th of July and Memorial Day events. The white and blue would be pretty dancing on the house or in the snow during the winter after Christmas. So I would like to have seen those color combinations as well.

The housing is plastic but it is pretty thick and sturdy feeling. The stake is also plastic. I haven’t had any problems with breaking or bending but because we have a pretty rocky yard I would like to see it made of metal instead. I like that there is a screw that lets you adjust the light up or down.

There is also a plastic stand that allows you to sit the laser light on a table top or mount it on a wall. We used this for our daughters recent birthday party and it was like having a dicso light on the ceiling. Along with her light up balloons, her party was rocking!

It also has a light sensor and built-in timer. It will stay lit for 8 hours then turn itself off. When it gets nighttime again, the lights come back on. So as I mentioned earlier, you can just set it and forget it.

These dancing laser lights would be perfect for:

  • Holiday decorating
  • Summer parties
  • Outdoor parties
  • Walkway lighting
  • Pool lighting/ambiance
  • Disco parties
  • etc.

These would be great for any outdoor decorating or event. I plan on using ours for our 4th of July party and can’t wait for my guests to see the lights dancing on the house and in the yard. They’re going to love it!
