Apple Crack Recipe: Caramel Dip For Apples

It’s almost Fall y’all! I’m so excited. I love autumn and everything it includes like apples, pumpkin, pumpkin spice everything (although I prefer apple), ooey gooey caramel apple crack dip, bonfires, hoodies, boots, fall festivals, fall scented candles, football, basketball… you name it and if it’s included in Autumn, I love it! (Did I leave anything out? I feel like I left some things out!) With that in mind, I have an amazingly delicious caramel dip for apples (and other dip-ables like these) to share with you. It’s so good, in fact, that it has been nicknamed “Apple Crack Dip”. It’s addictive and so delicious! There’s just something about a caramel apple dip that really hits the sweet-tooth spot!

NOTE: To make a Trim Healthy Mama version of this dip (it will be a crossover), simply make this Brooke’s 5 Minute Caramel Sauce, substitute the powdered sugar with a 1:1 sugar sub like Lakanto Powdered Sweetener and omit the toffee bits OR top with crushed ChocZero Hazelnut Truffles or peanuts.

Clay and I host and attend quite a few gatherings in the fall. (and throughout the year) We love to have cookouts and bonfires. One staple at all our fall get together’s is my Apple Crack dip for apples. There is never any left at the end of the night. And it goes quickly too. Technically it’s a dessert but I’ve seen this caramel apple dip half gone before the burgers were even done! People flock to it.

This apple crack recipe makes a great Superbowl Party dip as well! I like to set it over a platter filled with ice like this one <— affiliate link  – , to help keep the apples and dip chilled but it can sit at room temperature for up to two hours if you prefer a tray like this serving platter <— affiliate link  -. Refrigerate any leftovers. We never have leftovers though!

I’m serious. This caramel apple dip goes so quickly! It is one of my most requested recipes of all time. Caramel apple dip, Cranberry Apple Bake, baked macaroni and cheese, 8 Hour Salad and my ranch dip are family favorites.

This Apple Crack recipe is super easy to make too. It uses cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, caramel dip, toffee bits and apples to dip in it. You could dip grapes or other fruit or snacks, like cookies and graham crackers, too but it is a thick dip so the apples really hold up better. You just layer it onto your serving platter and place the apples around it. It looks a little like a sunflower and it really pretty for parties.

I like this serving platter because the inserts are removable. You can layer the caramel apple dip and then place the apples around it . Put the lid on for transporting to other places and you’re all set.
