With the holidays practically here, many families are getting ready to travel, whether it’s to visit family or go on a fun family road trip. If you’re planning on being a few hours on the road, keeping your kids busy will make for a much quicker and smoother ride. 

Although tablets or phones can keep them entertained for hours, it’s always a good idea to mix in some screen-free activities and downtime. This can be anything from family games you like to play, stopping along the way for some sightseeing or printables and coloring pages. Mine do, so I always make sure to take along printables, crayons, coloring books, etc. It helps pass the time when going on a long trip.

*TIP: Some of my kids get a little car sick so we also take along nausea bands, peppermint candies, snacks and drinks.
