Rainy Days Won’t Spoil Your Vacation With A Theater Room

I told y’all, the other day, how Clay and I surprised the kids and his parents with a last minute weekend getaway to Gatlinburg. One of the cabin rentals we love was having a 50% off weekend sale and we jumped at the chance to get away. We were lucky enough to find a cabin with a theater room which made the rainy day during our trip much more bearable. To enjoy the theater room, we took along the new Maleficent Mistress of Evil movie to watch on the big screen!

Maleficent Mistress Of Evil

We received a complimentary copy thanks to Walt Disney Studios. All opinions are our own.

We were so lucky to have found a cabin with great amenities. It had the theater room, which is what really drew me to it. It also had a pool table, air hockey, arcade games and a hot tub. Not to mention huge king sized beds. This was a trip for unwinding and relaxing for sure!

To make the most of the theater room, I wanted to take a movie we hadn’t seen yet. So I took our copy of Maleficent Mistress of Evil. We sat in our theater room seats, ate pizza and enjoyed the movie. It did not disappoint!

I was curious to see if the sequel would be as good as the first, and it was.

The graphics are outstanding. The plot is pretty good and there is some humorous moments so it’s not all dark and evil.

There are a couple parts I felt could have been a little better explained, but overall, it was pretty good! We all enjoyed it.

Here’s the official trailer so, you can get a glimpse for yourself if, like us, you’ve not seen it yet.

About Maleficent Mistress Of Evil

Directed by Joachim Rønning, “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” carries on the story of Disney’s most iconic villain. The years have been kind to Maleficent and Aurora. Their relationship, born of heartbreak, revenge and ultimately love, has flourished. Yet hatred between man and the fairies still exists. Aurora’s impending marriage to Prince Philip is cause for celebration as the wedding serves to unite the Kingdom of Ulstead and the neighboring Moors. But, when an unexpected encounter introduces a powerful new alliance, Maleficent and Aurora are pulled apart to opposing sides in a Great War, testing their loyalties and causing them to question whether they can truly be a family.
