I seriously love all things personalized. It must be the southern coming out it me. But I do love me some monograms and full lettering on my stuff.
This bag is fantastic. It is large enough to hold all the makeup I take on vacation with me. It holds all my necessary brushes, beauty blender, etc.
The canvas, Marilyn Personalized Cosmetic Bag is available in black or grey with Moroccan print and has several different colored threads to personalize with. I chose the grey bag with aqua lettering and it came out perfect.
The description says it comes with 6 different makeup brushes. I didn’t get those in mine, though. Mine was a special order so that may be why. Yours should come with the brushes when it arrives.
Along with all the pockets for holding my makeup, this bag also has a hanger. So, when we are traveling, I can hang it on the towel bar or hook and not clutter up the sink while I’m getting ready. All my makeup will be right there, together.

- Bag Open: 20” L. x 10.5” W. Bag Closed: 10.5” L. x 10.5” W. x 2” H.
- Outside Zippered Pocket: 7.75” L. x 5.75” W.
- Inside Zippered Pocket on Flap: 6.5” L. x 3” W.
- Two Inside Pockets: 9” L. x 3” W.
- Three Open Inside Pockets: 3” L. x 5” W.
You can see from the dimensions, above, that this bag is a great size! I love the pockets inside. I can keep my brushes and beauty blender in a pocket, my powdered makeup in one, my liquids/creams in one and even my jewelry in another.
Cats, however, do not fit inside this customized makeup bag. hahaha I think Leo wants to use my bag to store his makeup too! He sure was checking it out.
It also has a carrying handle that makes it easy to carry from room to room.
Clay and I were only 19 when we got married so bridesmaids gifts and groomsmen gifts never even occurred to us! If we were to get married, today, this personalized makeup bag would, absolutely, be the gift I gave my girls! When our daughters get married (somebody come give Clay some smelling salts, he just passed out 😂 )… Anyway, when our daughters get married, this is what I’ll suggest they give their own bridesmaids. It is a great travel bag that can be used for makeup or toiletries. If your ladies don’t wear makeup, it is still fantastic, personalized gift that can hold an assortment of things!
