RevivHair Review

When I was a little girl I had TONS of thick, stick straight hair. I put my fair share of hair dressers in tears when  getting a perm as a child. They would first thin my hair with a thinning comb, then piggy back the rollers and then use TWO permanent solutions. Then they’d cross their fingers and wait only to end with the same straight, thick hair, I’d started with. Sigh.

Disclosure: I received a complimentary sample of RevivHair Stimulating Serum with Redensyl® to test out on my thinning hair. All opinions are my own.

Fast forward to my child bearing years and things began to change. After the birth of our first child, my hair thinned a little and developed some body. I loved having the extra body! Over the course of the next 11 years I had 3 more children along with 6 miscarriages.

My body and emotions went through a lot in 11 years and it took a toll on my hair. With each pregnancy I noticed that a large amount of my hair would fall out a few months after. While my hair finally had the body I’d always wanted it to have, it was much thinner than before. Noticeably thinner in one spot on top. And it hasn’t really filled back in. I’m self conscious about that thin spot and wanted to do something about it.

I was actually doing some on pregnancy related hair loss when the opportunity to try out RevivHair Stimulating Serum with Redensyl® came along. I jumped on it. It uses 3 types of plant stem cells (Swiss Apple, Argan and Sea Fennel) to help regenerate hair growth and keep your current hair rooted longer.

Reviv Serum

Technically speaking: It uses ingredients for both men and women to help in reactivating the proliferation of ORSc stem cells and induce repair of the hair follicle, especially Redensyl, Keratinocyte Growth Factor (KGF, rh-Polypeptide-3), and PhytoCellTec™ Argan stem cells. Other ingredients can help to keep the hair bulb rooted to the scalp longer — especially some of the peptides like myristoyl pentapeptide and biotinyl tripeptide — and extend the anagen/growing phase (including the malus stem cells and KGF).

Sounds good to me!

It will take some more time to regrow and thicken my hair but one benefit I saw quickly is a slowing in shedding. I’m tired of my hair falling out in handfuls and I’m glad that there is something that can slow that down. I don’t have all the hair in the drain after my shower and I don’t have to clean the brush after each use. My hair is staying on my head where it belongs!

This serum is clear and has a fairly low odor. To use, I apply it once daily. It says to use on wet or dry hair. I use it right out of the shower while my hair is still damp. I apply one dropper full right on the thin spot and massage it in, then style my hair as usual. I have noticed any itching or burning. No stinging or irritation. Just a slight tingly feeling for a few seconds and a slow in hair loss.

I’m excited to see if my hair gets thicker in the thin spot again. It will be nice to not have to part my hair a certain way to cover it!
