Today is National Dog Biscuit Day and I’m going to spoil our dog with something yummy! It’s hard to believe we have had Jasper for 2 years! We rescued him as a puppy. He was 2 months old and when we got him he was full of worms and had bloody diarrhea. He was very malnourished and I’m pretty sure he was dying. I think we saved his life. We vowed to never give up on him, no matter what. And he gets spoiled with treats and toys. Some new dog treats we’re trying are Milk-Bone Farmer’s Medley. He seems to love them!
In fact, he was drooling! You can see right below his chin that he drooled all over his pillow waiting for his treat.
We’re trying to eat healthier, as a family, and that includes our pets. I want them to have ingredients that are natural and more healthy for their bodies. Seeing Jasper when we got him, broke my heart. I never want to see him, or any other pet in that shape again! The answer to all the questions, above, is yes. Jasper does like them. He wags his tail, begs and then gobbles it up. Real meat and vegetables makes me happy to give these to him and they are at a price we can afford.
He even guards the bag against the cat who tried to sneak in and see what they were all about. Jasper wasn’t about to let that happen!
