I’ve been using this TheraICE Compression Sleeve and I’m happy! Here’s why.

Over the last few months, I’ve developed quite a bit of hand and wrist pain. All my joints, actually, but it’s concentrated in my hands/wrists and knees. Since my job consists of lots of typing, I need my wrists to be as pain free as possible! I’ve been using the TheraICE Wrist Wrap for hot/cold relief and it helps tremendously!

My hand and my wrist have been aching. Rainy days make it so much worse. I know I have arthritis and there isn’t anything I can do to cure it, but I can treat the symptoms. The TheraICE Wrist Wrap works for both hot and cold hand therapy. It is a silky hand compression sleeve that fits over your hand like a finger-less glove and is available for men and women (2 sizes).

TheraICE Wrist Wrap Compression Sleeve Uses

It is great for the following conditions:

  • arthritis
  • tendonitis
  • carpal tunnel
  • bruises

I’ve been alternating hot and cold for my therapy. To do that, you just freeze it for 2 hours, then wear it until it warms back up to room temperature. Then it can go into the microwave for 10 seconds. If it’s not warm enough, pop it back in at 5 second intervals. If it’s too warm, just let it cool a bit before putting it on.

You can use it for just hot or just cold therapies as well.

Sometimes, I’ll just do cold or warm therapy, individually or I’ll do cold of a morning and warm at night. Really, you can use it whichever way works best for you and I change it up depending on the pain I’m having that day.

The gel inside is on both sides of the glove so you have comfort on the top and bottom of your wrist and hand. It is a super thick layer too! Look how thick the gel insert it in this wrist compression sleeve! Honestly, it’s fairly cold right out of the package, without even putting it in the freezer! Sometimes, I’ll just put it on, as-is, for some quick relief.

TheraICE Wrist Wrap Compression Sleeve Gel Thickness

It does not have any Velcro and just slides onto your hand. This is great because there is no pinching. This is great for when you just want to do hot or cold therapy.

NOTE: keep in mind you can’t tighten it up so if you’re wanting it to use as a full compression sleeve/glove, it’s not really going to provide that. It does, however, work amazing for cold/hot hand therapy! That’s not necessarily a bad thing, just a disclaimer for those who are looking for something they can adjust the compression with.

This one slides on and off in seconds. See the following quick Video showing the TheraICE Wrist Wrap and how easy it is to use.

As you can see, it is really simply to use and slides on and off quickly and easily. I mostly wear it after work when we’re watching TV. I feel like it helps me relax before bed and keeps my hand from keeping me awake at night throbbing.

The wrap itself is a silky but stretchy material. It is very comfortable and easy to take on and off.
