WaterPik Ultra WaterFlosser Review & Coupon.

Earlier today I showed you the SinuSense by WaterPik. Another great WaterPik that I’d like to show you is the WaterPik Ultra WaterFlosser. I’ve been waiting for this product with baited breath. No pun intended. I have gaps in my teeth and have a really difficult time with traditional dental floss. So I have been wanting to try the WaterFlosser for a long time. Why I never bought one I don’t know. I guess because I was afraid it wouldn’t do a good job. And to be completely honest with you, at a retail value of $59.99, you want to KNOW that a product is worth the price. In my very honest opinion, the WaterPik Ultra WaterFlosser is every bit worth the price!

As I mentioned, I have difficulty with standard string dental floss. With large spaces between most of my teeth, it is actually harder to floss than if my teeth were close together. I know that probably doesn’t make a lot of sense. You’d think have spaces would make it easier since you can get the floss in and out easier. But that isn’t the case. The floss tends to slip beneath my gum line and cause bleeding. I have not had a bit of bleeding with the Ultra WaterFlosser and I’ve already used it a few times. I actually didn’t want to stop using it. It felt GREAT on my teeth and gums!  It offers several levels of pressure that I can adjust when flossing my teeth. It also includes several different tips.

  • 1 – Classic Jet Tip
  • 1 – Plaque Seeker® Tip
  • 1 – Orthodontic Tip
  • 1 – Pik Pocket™ Tips
  • 1 – Toothbrush Tip
  • 1 – Tongue Cleaner
I used the Classic Jet Tip and the Plaque Seeker® Tip the most and both seemed to really get in between my teeth leaving them feeling clean and smooth. I also used the toothbrush tip but I think I will save this for times when I feel like my teeth need a really superior cleaning. I really love my regular toothbrush so I will probably use the Toothbrush Tip once a week to help remove tough tea stains from my teeth and my regular toothbrush twice daily along with the Classic Jet Tip for flossing.
There is a water reservoir that holds the water needed for flossing. Because it uses quite a bit if you have the flow on a higher setting, I do with the reservoir were a little bigger. I had to refill it once while flossing which isn’t hard but it would be nice if I didn’t have to stop and refill. That is my only complaint. The system works really well. You have to remember, though, that you are using water or you’ll forget and spray yourself like I did. hehehe
The pressure is nice. I started on the lowest setting and increased it until I found the level that felt the best and seemed to floss my teeth well. Once you turn the unit on, it begins to flow immediately. So you want to have it in your mouth with your lips closed around the tip when you turn it on.  There is a pause button on the handle so you can pause it to spit the water out while you are flossing.
Our bathroom sink isn’t large but you can see that the unit fits nicely in the corner even with all 6 of our toothbrushes. With several family members sharing this bathroom, we need things that aren’t overly large and the WaterPik Ultra WaterFlosser is a great size! The cord to the handle rolls right up inside the unit and is always out of the way,

The WaterPik Ultra WaterFlosser is, by far, one of my favorite new products. It leaves me teeth feeling fresh and clean. It is another product that I can use regularly to ensure a nice, clean mouth and healthy gums. There is nothing that will interfere with my blood pressure or allergy medications because you simply use water OR mouthwash. OH, that is another feature I love. I can clean my mouth with mouthwash! If I want super fresh breath and gums, I can use my favorite mouthwash instead of water. I almost forgot to mention that awesome feature!
