STP Fuel Additive?

 

Every year I do a full winter tune up on our van. This includes changing the oil and filter, spark plugs and wires, wiper fluid, adding anti-freeze, etc. Throughout the year I also like to add a motor treatment.

There are a lot of different products in the STP brand and I usually buy just the regular STP gas treatment but this year I found something a little different.

 

STP has a multipurpose motor treatment that can be used in both gas and diesel motors and has several different uses. It cleans engine deposits, stabilizes fuel and oil, removes moisture from gas (ever had water in your gas? You car will sputter and carry on), dissolves engine sludge, lowers emissions, etc. It really is a multipurpose product.

 

I used it in both my van and lawn mower as well as my dad’s two lawn mowers, chain saws, leaf blowers and weed eaters. It works great in all our gas powered equipment.

It really is very easy to use. The easiest way is to just add it directly to your gas tank and it will cycle through working as it goes. You can also add it where you add your oil but I’d rather do it through the gas tank since it’s easier. And that’s it. One easy step and you’re done. You’ve successfully treated your gas powered equipment.
