Mother’s Day is a special day to celebrate the mothers in our lives. What better way to show them how much we appreciate them than with a delicious and refreshing Mother’s Day Mimosa’s and brunch? This classic brunch cocktail is easy to make and can be customized to your taste. I have 2 recipes for you, below, with a mock-tail option as well! If you’re looking for food ideas for your Mother’s Day Brunch, be sure to check out our Jalapeno (or banana pepper) Fritatta recipe too! It fits the occasion perfectly.
For brunch, set out a variety of breakfast foods including scrambled eggs or a build your own omelet bar with toppings, sausage links and patties, biscuits, donuts and fruit. It doesn’t have to be a ton of work to look special and taste great!
For the Mimosa’s you can either make them by the glass, in a pitcher or create a Mimosa Bar where guests can add their own garnishes and add-ins to their glasses. I love to make a large batch in a drink dispenser, set out champagne flutes to be filled and then add orange slices and wedges, orange peel spirals, mint leaves, Maraschino cherries, pineapple wedges and rings and lime and lemon wedges. I also like to have simple syrup, Triple Sec, grapefruit juice, pineapple juice, or cranberry juice and sparkling water on the table.
Add some flowers in vases, pretty table clothes and table ware and you have a gorgeous Mother’s Day brunch for mom!
